Lecturer Positions

The Department of Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania seeks to hire full-time or part-time lecturers for the 2025-2026 academic year. We are looking for candidates to teach Family Business. Lecturers will teach courses on the University’s campus in Philadelphia, PA. The initial appointment term is for no more than 2 years.

In addition to their teaching role, lecturers will be a welcome part of the Department’s research community, including attending department seminars and potentially collaborating with department faculty and doctoral students.

Note that lecturers are not eligible for tenure and do not have voting rights in the department or the school. The position may be renewed based on the needs of the department.

Candidates are expected to have a deep knowledge of family business management and related academic domains. Further, as excellence in teaching is the primary criterion for this position, applicants must have outstanding communication skills and an interest in teaching undergraduate and/or MBA students. Applicants must have a degree from an accredited institution; a Ph.D. is preferred.
